Ingredients For Date Pickle Recipe
- 250 gm Khajoor/Dry Dates
- 2 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/3 Teaspoon Kala Namak/Rock Salt
- 1 Teaspoon Lal Mirch/Red Chilli Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Haldi/Turmeric Powder
- 1 Pinch Heeng/Asafoetida
- 3 Tablespoon Sugar
- 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds
- 1 Teaspoon Ajwain/Carom Seeds
- 1 Teaspoon Kali Mirch/Black Pepper Powder
- 3 Cloves Elaichi/Cardamom
Step By Step Instructions With Photos for Date Pickle Recipe
Take 250 gm Khajoor/dates and remove their seeds.
Add 2 tsp Salt, 1/3 tsp Kala Namak/Rock Salt, 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder, 1/2 tsp Haldi/Turmeric Powder and a pinch of Heeng/Asafoetida.
Also add 3 tbsp sugar, 1 tsp Cumin Seeds, 1 tsp Ajwain/Carom Seeds, 1 tsp Black Pepper Powder and 3 cloves of elaichi (freshly ground).
Also mix 150 ml lemon juice, around 7-8 Lemons. Mix all the ingredients well.
Transfer to a glass bottle. Store it at room temperature for 4-5 days and let the pickle marinate in the spices. Toss & stir it occasionally, around once a day. Khajoor Ka Achar is ready.
