Peel and slice the cucumber into thin discs. Thinly slice the onions as well.
2 Large Cucumbers (Kheera), 1/2 Onion
To make the dressing, in a small bowl add yogurt and mayonnaise.
1/2 Cup Hung Curd (Strained yogurt / Greek yogurt), 2 Tablespoons Mayonnaise
Also add lemon juice, chopped dill, black pepper powder and salt. If using dried dill, use half the quantity mentioned for fresh dill.
2 Teaspoons Lemon Juice, 2 Teaspoons Chopped Dill, 1/2 Teaspoon Black Pepper Powder (Kali Mirch), 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
Beat the dressing with the herbs & spices to a smooth consistency.
In a large salad bowl, add the sliced cucmubers and onions.
Add the prepared yogurt dressing to the bowl.
Toss the cucumbers and onions with the dressing to coat.
Creamy Cucumber Salad is ready. Serve fresh on the side of any meal or as a snack.
