  • 3 Medium Sized Potatoes
  • 2 Large Green Capsicum (Bell Pepper / Shimla Mirch)
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • 1 Teaspoon Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt or to taste
  • 1 Tablespoon Cooking Oil

  • Heat some oil in a pan or wok. Add cumin seeds (jeera) when the oil becomes hot. Fry the cumin seeds for a few seconds till they start to splutter.

  • Add diced potatoes to the pan and shallow fry them in oil for a 2-3 minutes.

  • Cover with a lid to cook the potatoes faster and keep stirring in between. Roast them till they start browning slightly.
