Heat some butter in a pan, then add minced garlic to it and sauté it for 30-60 seconds.

Then add sliced mushrooms to the pan.

Sauté them for 2-3 minutes till they are almost cooked.
Then add shopped spinach leaves to the pan and cook till the spinach wilts.

Add soya sauce, chilli flakes, oregano, Italian seasoning and salt and mix well. Turn off the heat and set the filling aside.

Optionally, toast the bread slices on one side, which will be the inner side of the sandwich.
8 Slices Sourdough Bread
Then place the prepared mushroom spinach filling on the toasted side of the bread.
Add some mozzarella cheese on top.
1 Cup Mozzarella Cheese
Then cover with the other bread to make the sandwich.
Then toast the sandwich till both sides are golden brown and crsipy.
Mushroom spinach sandwich is ready. Serve it hot.
